Gorillaz just dropped four new singles from their upcoming album, Humanz.

Now, before I go any further, I just want to say that this blog is not a pop up shop of trending music. The artists I feature here (especially in the Now Playing and Playlist category) are artists that I love and actually listen to. 

That being said, Gorillaz may not fit perfectly in any genre but I've always appreciated how they pushed boundaries and combine all types of sounds together. If you never listened to the Gorillaz before, then I recommend that you take a listen to their album Demon Days. 

Okay back to the latest release.

The four singles have monster features including D.R.A.M, Popcaan, Vince Staples, and Jehnny Beth. The songs are far from mellow, filled with distortion and even feature a choir singing melodies in the background. Gorillaz also released a very cool 3D video for Saturnz Barz which features Popcaan:
