The Get Down Part II soundtrack is OUT!

If you aren't hip to the Netflix series, The Get Down, I'ma need you to watch it this weekend! The series is kind of a musical and tells the story of teens growing up in the Bronx while pursing careers in hip hop and disco. The music is so well thought out and produced that I actually was anticipating the release!

The Get Down Part II: Original Soundtrack of course includes songs from the "characters" in the series such as The Get Down Brothers and Mylene Cruz and the Soul Madonnas but it also features singles from artists Alessia Cara, 6LACK and Nas. The soundtrack boasts traditional hip hop songs, a few heartfelt ballads and of course some four-on-the-flour energy pumping disco tracks.
